What changed in India

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 was passed by Parliament in August 2025 and was brought into force on 1 May 2026. It prohibits online money games, including skill-based ones such as rummy, and also prohibits advertising them. Several large operators stopped real-money play after it took effect, and challenges to the Act have been before the courts.

For that reason App All Rummy lists only apps that are free to play. We do not link to apps that take deposits or promise withdrawals.

Checklist for a safe free-to-play rummy app

Install from Google Play, not from a website

APK files from random websites can contain malware and are not reviewed by Google Play. The apps we list link only to their Google Play pages.

Staying in control

Even free games can be habit-forming. Set a time limit, take breaks, and stop if play affects your sleep, work or mood.
